Please take a look at the website health report attached. There are a couple of things that require your attention. If you wonder why the website needs updating even though you haven’t made any changes to it, this article can help you understand.

(Mention To Client If Needed) Plugins Update:

The website has some plugins that require updating. Read this article to understand why they need to be updated. Each plugin will take about 15 minutes to update. Once updated, we will check the website on desktop, tablet and mobile to make sure the plugin is compatible. If a plugin is incompatible, we will patch the website as well.

Malwares on a WordPress website are like sneaky bugs that can break things or steal information, and you should care because they can make your website unsafe for you and your visitors. The malware issues will be resolved along with the plugin updates. There’s no special actions needed for this aspect of the website.

(Mention To Client If Needed) WordPress Version Update:

The WordPress version of the site is outdated. Read this article to understand why it’s critical to have the WordPress version updated. We will need about 30 minutes to update and test it.

(Mention To Client If Needed) PHP Version Update:

The PHP version of the site is outdated. Read this article to understand why it’s important to keep the PHP version of the website up to date. We will need about 30 minutes to update and test it.

Website Update Date:

We will conduct the update on the Saturday of the week that you agree to proceed with the update. After the update, if you see anything unusual on the website, please notify us right away and we will resolve the issues right away. Sometimes, an older device may react to the update differently.

Cost To Implement The Update:

For Coding Bull staff: If the client is currently enrolled in a monthly website, then use the first paragraph. If the website is launched within the last 6 months, then use the second paragraph. If the client is either enrolled or launched within the last 6 months, use third and fourth paragraph.

Since you have enrolled in our monthly website maintenance and update plan, there’s no cost for the updates. Simply reply “Proceed” to authorize the update.

Considering your website has only been recently launched, we will update the website for free as a gesture of good will. We only ask you to understand the importance of keeping the site up to date so your investment will not be wasted. Please reply “Proceed” to authorize the update.

The total time needed for all the updates mentioned above is {min: time quote x 1} to {max: time quote x 1.5} hours. Our hourly rate is $75 / hr for this sort of tasks. If the time we spent on updating exceeds the max time we are quoting you right now, there will be no extra cost to you. Please reply “Proceed” to authorize the update.

For Coding Bull staff: If time amount ends with odd number like .125 you will round up to .25

If you want to take your chances to skip the updates, you can let us know. Your website has daily backups so even if the site fails, we can still make it work for a little bit and update it then. However, the time needed for that update will be significantly more.
