Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 2026 April 10th
The Coding Bull Development Ltd. (“Agency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have — whether you are a visitor to our website, a prospective client, or an existing client whose customers’ data we process on your behalf.
Our website is located at thecodingbull.com and we operate from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to:
- Website visitors — anyone who browses thecodingbull.com.
- Prospective and current clients — individuals or businesses who contact us, sign a Proposal, or engage our services.
- Client-side data subjects — individuals whose personal data we process on behalf of our clients (e.g. leads, ad audiences). If you are one of these individuals, please also refer to the privacy policy of the business that engaged our services, as they are the data controller for your information.
2. What Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact and inquiry forms: Name, email address, phone number, business name, and any details you include in your message.
- Client onboarding: Business information, billing details, and access credentials shared as part of a signed engagement (e.g. ad account access, CRM data).
- SMS and text communications: When you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from us, we collect your phone number and the content of messages exchanged. You are never required to consent to SMS as a condition of engaging our services.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics data: We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website, including pages visited, time on site, referring URLs, device type, and approximate geographic location. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
- Advertising pixels: We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking on our website. These tools collect information about your visit — such as pages viewed and actions taken — to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and, where applicable, to serve you relevant ads on those platforms.
- Cookies and similar technologies: See Section 6 below.
Client customer data
When providing lead generation and advertising services, we may access, process, or store personal data belonging to our clients’ customers or prospects (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and behavioural data from ad campaigns). We process this data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of our clients, who remain the data controllers for that information. We do not use client customer data for our own purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To respond to inquiries and communicate with prospective clients.
- To deliver, manage, and improve the services outlined in signed Proposals.
- To send marketing emails and, where you have consented, SMS messages to prospects and past clients about our services, updates, and relevant content. You may opt out at any time (see Section 7).
- To measure the performance of our own advertising campaigns via Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Google Ads tracking.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To process client customer data strictly as instructed by the client under our service agreement.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
We collect and process personal information on the following legal bases depending on the context:
- Contractual necessity: Processing required to fulfil a signed Proposal or respond to a pre-contractual inquiry.
- Legitimate interests: Analytics, advertising measurement, and business communications, where our interests are not overridden by your privacy rights.
- Consent: Marketing emails, SMS communications, and the use of non-essential cookies and pixels, where required by applicable law. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Legal obligation: Where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law.
5. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with the following categories of third parties solely to operate our business and deliver our services:
- Google LLC — for Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking. Google Privacy Policy.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — for Meta Pixel and advertising measurement. Meta Privacy Policy.
- Email and CRM providers — platforms we use to manage client communications and send marketing emails (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
- Payment processors — for billing and invoicing purposes. We do not store full payment card details.
- Professional advisors — such as lawyers or accountants, under confidentiality obligations where necessary.
- Law enforcement or regulators — where required by applicable law or legal process.
All third-party service providers are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes beyond what is necessary.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website. These include:
- Essential cookies: Required for the website to function. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Used by Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our site. These are non-essential and, where required by law, set only with your consent.
- Advertising cookies: Set by the Meta Pixel and Google Ads to measure ad performance and, where applicable, to enable retargeting. These are non-essential and set only with your consent where required by law.
You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings or any cookie consent tool present on our website. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

- Consent: We will only send you SMS messages with your prior express consent, obtained through a separate, optional opt-in process on our website. Consent to receive SMS messages is never a condition of purchasing our services or submitting a contact inquiry.
- Data Sharing: Mobile information, phone numbers, and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on the nature of your engagement and scheduled appointments with us.
- Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also text HELP for assistance or contact us at info@thecodingbull.com. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts.
- Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. We are not responsible for any charges incurred.
- Records: We maintain records of SMS consent as required by applicable law.
Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional messages related to an active service engagement.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law:
- Inquiry and contact data: Up to 2 years from last contact if no engagement follows.

- Marketing email and SMS lists: Until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Records of SMS consent are retained for a minimum of 4 years to comply with TCPA requirements.
- Analytics data: As configured in our Google Analytics account (typically 14 months).
- Client customer data: As instructed by the client, or deleted promptly upon termination of the service agreement.
